We are curious

We want to know about the latest developments in our field, how they relate to our method, and what that might mean for our customers and ourselves. We want to learn about new markets and new products. We like to know our clients and colleagues well, and to know what drives them, what their needs are and where we can help them. We ask, if we have to, until we get to the heart of the problem.

We are original

We offer our clients solutions not offered by other consulting firms. We are a bit opinionated because, schooled in cogNIAM, we want to – and can – know the ins and outs, based on “real life” examples and have an urge to analyze and model. We come up with creative ideas and solutions, and think “out-of-the-box.” We are precise and pay attention to valuable details. Our solutions and services are founded on a philosophy, namely the cogNIAM® philosophy.

We are involved

We take a genuine interest in the people we work with: whether they are our customers, our business partners or our colleagues. We go the extra mile for them, and we go all the way to achieve goals and results. A lot is always possible, so we don’t like saying “no,” mindful of not selling ourselves short. Commitment also manifests itself in an interest to cooperate with others, if we think this will lead to a better solution

We are inventive

We are on the front lines of our field, which means we are always one step ahead of the competition. We are innovative and, when necessary for the client, come up with solutions that have never been thought of before. Sometimes we question the existence of direct or comparable competitors because our approach has a fundamentally different perspective. We work from a core of knowledge toward the goal.

We are honest

We play no games, have no hidden agenda and do not play politics. We value the people we work with – whether customers, colleagues or business partners – for who they are and what they can do. We also respect what they can’t do and help them with that as best we can. We communicate directly, clearly and not via-via. We give, if it is in the interest of our interlocutor, our unvarnished opinion. In this sense, we are the embodiment of Patrick Lencioni’s “the naked consultant.

We are passionate

We have a passion for our work, and we carry it out on many fronts. Whatever role we play, we play it with abandon. We don’t have a 9-to-5 mentality; if we have to, we keep going until we reach our goal. We also have fun and humor – laughter is healthy, and it also contributes to a good working atmosphere and a healthy company!

We are bold

As small as we are, we still have a lot of influence. We do business with the largest, leading and most innovative organizations, we work with them, and we are proud of who we are and what we can do. We make proposals and implement actions that defy the imagination without becoming irresponsible. We dare to take risks and are entrepreneurial, both in terms of content and operations. For example, we have played a leading role in the creation of several world standards, concluded a strategic partnership with ADP, set up a joint venture with ABN AMRO, to name but a few.
