With Decision Model and Notation, learn to structure complex rules and decisions and build traceable decision models based on them.
Have you lost track of your rules? Do you want to know what decisions are based on and how they come about? Do you know which rules to apply in which situation? Learn to structure complex rules and decisions and create traceable decision models. You will get demonstrably more grip and insight into seemingly complex situations.
DMN is the international standard for modeling decision rules. Learn how to get a better grip on rules, understand the complexity between rules, and make rules accessible to a wide audience by using DMN in combination with our guidelines for using the standard.
With PNA’s DMN workshop, you obtain your knowledge directly from the source. Our teachers have extensive practical experience and have actively participated in various world standards. Moreover, through an introduction to cogNIAM, we make connections between processes, rules, data and semantics.
Decision Model and Notation (DMN) is the world standard for specifying decision rules. Using this standard from OMG, organizations can take describing and modeling their critical business decisions to the next level and have it managed by the business. DMN integrates seamlessly with process modeling in BPMN and information modeling with FBM if desired, and can be used to make complex decisions understandable to both the business and IT.
During the workshop, a practical example selected by you will be used.
In the workshop, we will share our knowledge and experience with DMN in the form of guidelines for use in practice.
You can apply DMN in your organization immediately after the workshop.
You obtain your knowledge directly from the source. Our teachers have extensive practical experience at (inter)national organizations and have actively participated in several world standards, including DMN, as well as BPMN 2.0 and SBVR.
